River View Cemetery

The River View Cemetery was opened in 1869, to the south of Aurora, bordering Laughery Creek. This scenic, serene cemetery sits on 30 acres and is a great example of the Rural Victorian Public Space design asthetic popular during the early 19th-century. In 2013, the cemetery was named to the National Register of Historic Places.
