Aurora was settled in the early 1800's and incorporated in 1845 and has strong historic connections to the Ohio River. A majority of street lights within the City limits are owned and operated by Duke Energy. If you notice a street light outage, Click Here to report the outage to Duke.
If the light does not appear on the map at the particular location it may be owned by the City. The City currently owns the Street lights on 2nd and 3rd Street, Main Street, George Street trail connector, Lesko Park, Manchester, & Moore Street. City owned street light outages should be reported to the Department of Public Works who can be reached at 812-926-5403.
