Cochran TIF Area
The Cochran TIF Area is located just outside of downtown Aurora next to Stedman’s Machine Company. It includes properties owned by CSX Railroad with potential economic development opportunities offered through sale of these properties. Property within the Cochran TIF Area are zoned for M Manufacturing Industrial, making them a prime opportunity for development. Amenities featured at the properties included are: potential access to CSX rail, 15-minute proximity to I-275, and 25 minutes to Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport.
Southeastern Aurora TIF
Approved in 2013, by the Aurora Redevelopment Commission, the Southeast Aurora TIF Area runs on the river side of U.S. 50 from the Aurora Lumber Company to the George Street Bridge. It then continues across Hogan Creek on down to the beginning of Lesko Park.

This property represents a wonderful opportunity for either industrial or retail usage. Currently, these properties are zoned for agricultural usage, but they can be easily modified for whatever development opportunity may arise.
There are many other opportunities within this TIF that provide high traffic visibility by way of the US 50 highway and are in close proximity to high-patronage businesses such as: Wal-Mart, Kroger’s, Bob Evan’s, Goody’s, and Lowe’s Home Improvement. Properties are within fifteen minutes of the I-275 highway loop, and within within thirty minutes of Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport.
